PARISH COUNCILLOR VACANCY
Following the retirement of Councillor Janet Croucher, whose seat was not filled at the last election, and expiry of the statutory period of Public Notice, Frittenden Parish Council is now able to co-opt a local elector to fill this vacancy.
Anyone who is interested in becoming a Parish Councillor, or wishes to find out more, should please contact the Parish Clerk or any current Frittenden Parish Councillor for further information.
If you wish to apply to be considered for the role, please provide a short statement to the Parish Clerk setting out (i) who you are (ii) how you meet the eligibility criteria explained below and (iii) what you feel you can bring to the Parish Council.
All applications should be sent to the Parish Clerk at the above address, by post or email, to be received by 31st October 2020.
The Parish Council will consider whether to co-opt a new member when it meets remotely by Zoom on Tuesday 17th November 2020. Details of that meeting and how interested parties can attend will be provided follow receipt of applications.

To be eligible for the role of Parish Councillor you must:
- Be a registered local government elector; and
- Occupy as owner or tenant any land or other premises in Frittenden Parish; or
- Have your main or only place of work in Frittenden Parish; or
- Live in Frittenden Parish (or within three miles of it).
